Tatjana loves AcroYoga and she loves kids and families. So this is the combination that made her develop Family AcroYoga. Tatjana is a certified AcroYoga teacher. She has been teaching yoga, movements and dance for many years. Tatjana lives and teaches in Brussels, Belgium.

Since 1997 she’s been teaching children in different settings with great pleasure, and she started training in AcroYoga in 2006. In 2010 Esther became both certified as a Vinyassa yoga teacher and as an AcroYoga teacher. She was one of the first in the world, since 2009, to teach AcroYoga to parents and kids.
Esther is co-founder of Family AcroYoga.
My name is Ellen and I'm a real adventurer with loads of energy. I started gymnastics when I was three. I discovered the kick of wave surfing in Bali, rock climbing in Canada and wandered around the globe during my travels for a few years before I rediscovered the fun and beauty of flying. After immersing myself in the practice of acro yoga and acrobatics, I felt the urge to pass on the acro spirit. And what's a better audience than a bunch of happy kids and their parents, eager to fly and enjoy those amazing moments.
Transmission is part of her DNA: she has accompanied children on the pathways of learning for 13 years as a teacher and has worked for greater inclusion of parents in school life.
Movement is also part of its DNA. A former gymnast, she has also enjoyed many other sports such as dance, rock climbing and racket sports. She combined movement and expression in her passion for theater and movement and well-being through various massage training.
However, it is yoga that will lead her to consider movement as a source of development that she immediately wanted to transmit. Certified in yoga for kids in 2016, she discovered acroyoga, her community, her values and her philosophy in 2017.
This wonderful tool for a better world, she shares it without counting with her two children. This way of surpassing herself, of having fun, of creating bonds and trust, she now wants to introduce her to families.

Previously athlete (6 years: javelin, decathlon) and swimmer (10 years), and in between Wing Chun and Goshin Jutsu practice, he discovered AcroYoga in 2015 taken by a friend. It was his first contact with the "AcroWorld" where he met his main teacher Tatjana. He's now co-teacher with Marie Marecaux at the Circus School (Leuven) as well as teaching in several classes and workshops in Brussels. Gregory has founded the AcroYoga Summer Festival Belgium together with Marie and Tatjana.
My name is Valérie and I love to move (professional gymnastics as a kid, contemporary dance, yoga, climbing, ecstatic dance, physical theater)! Since I discovered Acroyoga, I can't get enough of it and I rediscovered what I missed for so many years: the acrobatic part in movement. I love the connection, trust, feeling of community, challenge and humor when I practice Acroyoga. As a family Acroyoga teacher, I would love to see connection, fun and trust growing in a playful way!
Human right lawyer during the day, Zsuzsanna teaches ashtanga yoga, acroyoga, and AY fit (acrobatic fitness) here and there, for free and for fun. Initially she came to acroyoga, like most people, for the coolness factor. Like others, she stayed for the substance. Learning partner acrobatics builds confidence, but also strengthens communications skills and trust in others. It is as much of a practice for the hearts and minds as it if for the physical body. Practicing yoga connects you with yourself and the universe. But acroyoga does something else, too. It also connects you to other people in a profound yet fun and entertaining way. It creates a community.
Valerie started acrogym when she was a kid and she discovered acroyoga in 2017 in Antwerp, where she lives. She believes that via acroyoga and via music and dancing as well, you can create a beautiful connection between the parent and the child. In her job as a physician, she experiences that the way of life as an (acro)yogi has a positive influence on the general health of a person, both physical and emotional.
Laurie has been practicing yoga since 2007. She lives in Antwerp, where she teaches prenatal and hatha classes. As co-founder of Lilayoga she also teaches children's yoga and family yoga. She loves to see how parents and children find new ways of moving, communicating and interacting during yoga. After discovering the fun of flying in acroyoga, she loves to incorporate it in the family yoga classes too!
Pilates and yoga teacher, Billy has always been passionate about the movement . She began giving gymnastics lessons to children before specializing in the fitness and wellness sector she has been in since 2003. She attended her first Teacher Training in Freestyle Yoga in Bordeaux, France in 2017. Today she is studying Sign Language and wants to introduce Children and Deaf Parents to Acroyoga Family. What she likes is to create a bond thanks to the language of the body.
Sandra is a certified Yoga and AcroYoga Teacher. She lived few years in Australia and traveled around Asia for a year where she did several trainings in thai massage, wuo tai, acroyoga immersions and vipassana. Once she came back to Madrid, she started to get interested in working with kids and families. She got certified in kids yoga with the school Om Shree Om and did other small trainings in mums and babies yoga and story telling for kids yoga. To have a child of her own gave her the connexion to kid's world as she has to connect to her inner child every day. She is working in Madrid doing workshops and retreats for families and adults. Her aim is to spread the magic of AcroYoga to bring awareness, connexion and joy to kids and their families.
Do you also wish you could walk around barefoot all the time? It's liberating and fun, right? A bit like Acroyoga. Acroyoga does magic: a different kind of magic to everyone.
A mother of three and a connection-freak, Gabi is compassionate to share this magic with kids, families (and beyond) to help create trust, respect, kindness, strength or resilience, to connect, balance, calm or energize - whatever you may need.

I find that AcroYoga with kiddies brings an abundance of fun and connection. I have taught yoga kids for years but the Family AcroYoga has brought another dimension to my classes; as well as the acrobatic element ( I am sporty but not a gymnast), the massage and the playfulness is a winning combination. I love teaching it and the children adore it. It is the first thing my friends kids ask me to do with them. I think it is a wonderful gift if we can share more of this fun, loving touch and yoga style with children around us. They thrive when adults play with them and give them that special one to one time. I wish I learnt this when my girls were younger.
